Kudoboard — best for big photo & video walls

Kudoboard is an established multi-post group-board platform. Lite supports messages, photos, and GIFs; Premium adds uploaded or recorded video and a downloadable poster image. Kudoboard also offers separately priced hard-bound books and posters, so a large board can become a physical keepsake.

The published one-off tiers are $6.99 Lite for up to 20 posts, $9.99 Premium for up to 100 posts, and $19.99 Milestone for unlimited posts. Premium is the relevant comparison when a group needs video or more than 20 posts; Milestone fits boards that need more than 100. Those are post limits, not verified distinct-signer limits.

Contributors can use an AI helper to write a post, and the recipient can thank everyone. Reactions and comments on posts, and approving posts before they appear, come with business plans (and Company Event or Memorial boards); business plans start at $299 a year and add Slack and Teams on Pro.

GroupGreeting — best for cheap and simple at volume

GroupGreeting publishes a $5.99 single-card price with unlimited signatures and pages, photos and GIFs, an optional gift card, and a downloadable PDF. Its current packs range from $5.40 per card for 10 to $3.99 per card for 100; pack cards must be used within 12 months.

Signers get handwriting-style fonts, stickers and GIFs; the recipient can send a thank-you note; and a large cover catalog includes animated designs, with your own upload or a design service from $24.99 for a custom cover. It does not support video, we found no voice notes or AI tools, and you pay before inviting signers.

Ellacard — best for usage-based media collaboration

Ellacard's published group-card price is $8 plus 10¢ for each group signer invited by Ellacard and 10¢ for each recipient it delivers to. Sharing the card through your own link or social post allows unlimited group signers and recipients without those per-person delivery charges. Cards support unlimited pages plus text, pictures, and recorded videos of up to 100 seconds.

That makes the final price depend on how the organizer invites and delivers, so a flat-price ranking would be misleading. Designing is free, but the signing link comes after checkout. Ellacard offers pooled group gift cards, a thank-you from the recipient, and a PDF you print yourself whose QR code opens the card; it says it doesn't mail physical cards. Annual subscriptions start at $40 and include a send allowance.

GroupTogether — best when you're also collecting money

GroupTogether's real product is the group gift: collect contributions, hand over the total as a ManyCard the recipient swaps for a retailer gift card of their choice, and attach a group card to go with it. Collect $20 or more and the card itself is free; standalone it's $5.50 including fees.

The standalone card also has unlimited messages, photos and GIFs, and a PDF download for printing. It adds an AI cover maker that builds a cover from a photo and a description, and an AI message writer for everyone who signs; its FAQ says video and audio aren't supported. US gift contributions carry the processing fee shown on GroupTogether's pricing page.

Thankbox — best free-to-start flow

Thankbox lets an organizer create a card and collect messages before paying to send it. Classic is $5.99 with unlimited messages, photos, GIFs, scheduled sending, and a $400 gift-collection limit. Premium is $9.99 and adds videos of up to 90 seconds, voice notes, a slideshow, AI design remixing, more design controls, and a $1,000 collection limit.

On every plan the recipient can reply to thank everyone, with a photo, GIF or video, and the card downloads as a PDF. Team plans add comments and reactions on messages and Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations. Gift contributions have currency-specific processing fees, so the card price is not the only possible charge when a collection is enabled.

Panda Greetings — best when the card is the gift ($7.98)

Ours. Panda generates custom card artwork from a description of the recipient, or you start from a ready-made design. Everyone signs from one link with no account, picks a handwriting-style font and ink color, and can add an emoji, a GIF, a photo, a drawing, a voice note of up to 60 seconds (with optional fun voices) or a 30-second video; a writing helper drafts or polishes a note for anyone stuck. Signers can react to and reply to each other's notes, and the finished card plays as a slideshow. The organizer signs the same way and can add a Spotify track. They can also hide, pin or reorder notes, or hold notes from the shared link until they approve them, on every card rather than only a business plan, and the recipient can heart notes and post one thank-you that every signer sees. Panda is the only one here that prints and mails the card; its QR code opens the complete online card. Starting the card and collecting signatures is free; you pay when you send it. The base group eCard is $7.98; optional AI animation of the artwork costs extra.

Where we're honestly beaten: there is no gift collection, there is no downloadable copy of every message — the notes live online, behind the card's link and QR code — and there is no team plan or Slack or Teams integration yet. The recipient's thank-you is text only, where Kudoboard and Thankbox allow video, and our signers' videos are 30 seconds, where Thankbox allows 90 and Ellacard 100. For pooled gift money, a PDF of every message, or a workplace plan, one of the cited alternatives is a better fit today.
