A get well card the whole team can sign

When a teammate is out sick, injured, or facing something bigger, a card passed desk to desk won't reach them at home. Share one link and let the whole team send their support at once.

How the get well card comes together

1

Create their card

Describe them — their favorite mug, the team they root for, the thing everyone teases them about — and we turn it into warm original artwork that feels personal, not clinical. Or start from a ready-made design.

2

Share one link with the team

Drop the invite link in the team chat or an email thread. Everyone signs from their own phone or laptop — no card circulating the office while they're away.

3

Everyone sends their support

Each person writes a get-well message in their own handwriting and can add a photo or a voice note, or an emoji or GIF if it fits the mood. You see the notes arrive and can nudge quietly if needed.

4

Deliver it to wherever they're resting

Send it as an eCard the moment it's ready, schedule it, or have it printed and mailed straight to their home — no office visit required. You pay when it goes out.

Stuck on what to write?

The right get-well message depends on what they're facing — a sprained ankle can take a joke; a serious diagnosis needs warmth without pressure. A few to borrow:

  • Take all the time your body needs. We'll be here cheering every step of your recovery.
  • Don't worry about a single deadline. Worry about naps. We've got the rest.
  • We agreed to split your workload while you're out. We are not doing a good job. Please heal accordingly.
  • There's no card big enough for this, so here's the simple truth: we're thinking of you, and we're not going anywhere.

Get well card questions, answered

How do I collect get-well messages from the whole team?

Create the card, then share one invite link in your team chat or email. Everyone opens it on their own device and adds their name and message — you see every note as it arrives, and the card reaches them at home, not at the empty desk.

Do coworkers need an account to sign?

No. Signing works right in the browser on any phone or computer — no signup, no app, no password. Teammates in other offices and people working remotely can all sign the same card.

How many people can sign the get-well card?

As many as you like — the whole floor if they want to. Anyone with the link can pass it along, so the organizer doesn't have to chase every department.

What should we write if it's something serious?

Keep messages warm and pressure-free: “thinking of you,” “we're here,” “take all the time you need.” Skip deadlines like “get well soon,” prognosis promises, and medical advice. Our get-well messages guide has a section written carefully for serious illness.

Is a group get-well card appropriate, or is it too much?

A group card is usually exactly right — it shows the whole team cares without anyone having to intrude individually. The recipient opens it on their own time, in private, and can revisit it on hard days. No visit to host, no thirty separate texts to answer.

Can we send it to their home?

Yes. Send it as an eCard to their personal email, or have the printed group card ($17.97) mailed straight to their door on premium card stock — with a QR code on the back that opens the online card, where every note from the team lives.

Will a printed card arrive in time?

Tell us the day it needs to arrive and we plan back from it: signing closes in time for us to print the card and mail it so it gets there by that day. If the day is too close for standard mail, your dashboard says so and offers faster shipping.

Can we add a voice message?

Yes — every teammate can record a voice note of up to 60 seconds, and you can add one from the whole room. A chorus of “we miss you, feel better” means more than any written line. Signers can also add a photo, or a GIF where the mood allows it.

How much does a group get-well card cost?

A group get-well eCard is $7.98 total — one flat price with no per-signer fees. An animated version is $10.97, and a printed-and-mailed card is $17.97. You pay when you send it.

Should we send it right away or wait?

Sooner is better — support lands hardest in the first days. Give the team a day or two to sign, then send. For longer recoveries, some teams send a second card a few weeks in, when the first wave of attention has faded and it means even more.

What if we just want to say we're thinking of them?

If they're not ill or injured — a hard stretch, a family situation, a rough season — a thinking-of-you card fits better than a get-well card. Same group signing, gentler framing; browse our thinking-of-you designs and keep the messages simple and warm.
