How to print them

  1. Download the PDF. Page 1 is the outside of the card, page 2 the inside, and page 3 has these steps.
  2. Print pages 1 and 2 on US Letter paper, landscape, at 100% (not "fit to page"). Card stock or heavy paper makes a sturdier card.
  3. Print double-sided, flipping on the long edge. Without a duplex printer, print page 1, then feed the same sheet back in to print page 2 on its back; try it on plain paper first, since printers feed differently.
  4. Cut along the edges of the printed card, fold it in half with the picture on the front, and write your note inside.

These 12 Christmas cards are free to print at home: no sign-up, no watermark, as many copies as you like for your own cards. Each one folds to about 4.7 by 7 inches, with a short greeting inside and room for your note.

They come from our shop, where every design is original art in our storybook style. If you'd rather not print, you can send the same card as an eCard for $1.99, or we print it on thick card stock and mail it for $9.99 with free US shipping, and you can pick the day it arrives.

Are these Christmas cards really free?

Yes. Download and print as many as you like for your own cards and gifts. Please don't sell them or put them on another site.

What size are they?

Each card folds to about 4.7 by 7 inches, close to a standard 5 by 7 card, and prints on one US Letter sheet: the outside on one side and the inside on the other.

Can I change the words?

The PDF's front and inside are set. To write your own message on a design, open it in the shop: you can edit the message and send it as an eCard, or we print and mail it for you.

Can a whole office or family sign one?

Yes, online. Make any design a group card and share one link: everyone adds a note, a photo or a voice message from their own phone, and it goes out as an eCard or a printed card.
