About this card
For the gamer who still remembers the thrill of an arcade cabinet and a pocketful of quarters, this birthday card is a small, nostalgic celebration. It’s aimed at a friend, sibling, or partner who loves retro play — the cover’s cheerful orange cabinet and joystick spell out “Happy Birthday!” on the screen, so the greeting lands as soon as they see it.

Rendered in a pared-back, vintage-inspired palette, the minimal illustration frames the moment with warm, textured tones and friendly, rounded shapes. The single joystick and cluster of buttons nod to long nights chasing high scores, while the soft paper-like grain gives the scene a gentle, well-loved feel — a compact tribute to old-school fun and to the person who still plays with joy.
