About this card
This card is for the friend or sister who hits 40 with the same joy and bravery she’s always shown — a milestone birthday that calls for celebration and a little extra cheer. The front’s warm, minimal illustration shows a woman in a purple cape and gold boots soaring above a sunlit seaside town, her fist raised and a laurel crown in her hair; the hand-lettered “Happy 40th!” dances across the sky like a banner of encouragement.

The palette of soft mauves, golden accents and muted coastal blues gives the scene a vintage storybook warmth, and the simple, confident composition keeps the focus on motion and optimism. It feels like an invitation to step into this decade with courage and playfulness — a card that says you see her sparkle and you’re excited for everything she’s about to do.
